Shanghai Disney Resort works with local authorities to increase awareness and emphasize the importance of safety among young children in the local community.

With support from the Youth Protection Department of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Fire Bureau, the resort introduced the “Disney Wild About Safety – Safety Smart® In the Water!” program and “Disney Wild About Safety – Safety Smart® About Fire!” program to 17 schools in Shanghai.

Every year, thousands of students watch the animated safety educational short films and engage in interactive water and fire safety exercises with Shanghai Disney Resort VoluntEARS.
